Emmett Bramble Jr St. Croix Shooting Death: Emmett Bramble Jr Has Died In A Fatal Shot

The St. Croix community is grieving the sudden and tragic death of 41-year-old Emmett Bramble Jr., who was fatally shot Monday evening in the Sunny Isles area.

According to reports, the incident occurred on March 30, 2026, at approximately 7:05 p.m., when the 911 Emergency Call Center received alerts from the ShotSpotter Detection System indicating multiple gunshots in the Estate Diamond vicinity. Shortly after, additional calls reported a man down near the Gas for Less gas station.

Responding officers arrived at the scene and found Bramble lying on the western side of the station with apparent gunshot wounds. Emergency responders acted quickly to provide aid before transporting him to Juan F. Luis Hospital for urgent medical treatment. Despite these efforts, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. His identity was later confirmed by his next of kin.

The tragic incident has left family, friends, and the wider community in shock and mourning, as many struggle to process the sudden loss.
