The death of a 53-year-old La Grange Park man, identified as Brian Mangano, is under investigation after his body was found at a forest preserve in Lemont on Monday. The Will County Coroner’s Office reported that Mangano was pronounced dead at approximately 12:29 p.m. at the preserve located in the 17000 block of North Bluff Road.
At this time, the cause and manner of Mangano’s death have not been determined. Officials from the coroner’s office have indicated that more information will be made available following the completion of an autopsy and additional reports from toxicology and law enforcement investigations.
The Will County Forest Preserve Police are leading the inquiry into the incident and are working to establish the circumstances of Mangano’s death. While authorities have not ruled out any possibility, including foul play, they are asking for the public’s patience as they conduct a thorough investigation.
