Aiden J. Fish, born on August 23, 2005, passed away on March 26, 2026, leaving behind a legacy defined by his gentle kindness, compassion, and selfless love. Although his time with us was far too brief, the profound impact he had on everyone around him will be cherished forever.
Aiden’s memory will live on through his warm spirit and radiant smile, which brought comfort to so many. He had an exceptional ability to connect with those who felt invisible, offering them kindness without hesitation and unwavering support without expecting anything in return. His presence made others feel safe, valued, and understood—qualities that defined his essence.
Aiden had a deep affection for animals, which reflected his nurturing nature, and he treasured his moments with family. Whether he was playing sports, sharing laughter, or simply spending time together, these moments held great meaning for him and those lucky enough to share them. Aiden also demonstrated remarkable perseverance, working diligently to earn his high school diploma and welding certificate—milestones that showed both his commitment and his vision for the future.
Family was the heart of Aiden’s world. He was adored by his parents, Steven and Tamara Fish, and carried their values of kindness, humor, and strength with him in everything he did. He was more than just a son; he was a constant source of pride and joy. To his cousins, he was a loyal, big-brother figure who was always there to listen, offer encouragement, and laugh through both the good and the tough times.
Aiden’s generosity continues to impact others even in his passing. His decision to be an organ donor allowed him to save three lives—an incredible final act that exemplified the selfless love he demonstrated throughout his life. His story is a testament to the positive change one person can bring, even in the midst of profound loss.
Aiden is also lovingly remembered by his grandparents, Ron and Cindy Whitmer of Rolla, Missouri; Ronda Mackey of Hayden, Idaho; and James Fish of Redding, California, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will carry his memory forward.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Rolla, Missouri, with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In honor of Aiden’s love for animals, donations may be made to the Rolla Animal Shelter.
Aiden’s life was a precious gift. He will forever be missed, loved deeply, and remembered always.
