Christin Nicole Woodman, Mason Elliot Marshall And Their Son Lancaster Death – Obituary: In Remembrance of Cherish Resident

The Lancaster community is heartbroken after a devastating house fire early Wednesday morning claimed the lives of Mason Elliot Marshall, 27, his girlfriend Christin Nicole Woodman, 26, and their infant son. What began as a peaceful night turned to tragedy around 1 a.m. when flames engulfed their home at 655 1/2 E. Fifth Ave., leaving a family lost far too soon and a community in deep mourning.

Firefighters arrived swiftly at the scene, facing fierce flames and challenging conditions due to the home’s location between Fifth and Sixth avenues. Despite their heroic efforts, Mason, Christin, and their young child could not be saved. Two others were rescued and treated on-site by Lancaster medics, showcasing the courage and dedication of first responders.

City Fire Chief Slade Schultz solemnly reported, “Two people were rescued from the house and treated on scene. Unfortunately, three people lost their lives in this tragic fire.” Multiple fire departments and the Red Cross came together to assist, demonstrating the community’s collective response to such a heartbreaking event.
