Nina Dillon, Lucas Street Death Obituary: Teen’s Tragic Death Shocks Kosciusko Community

The Kosciusko community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of 16-year-old Nina Dillon, who died following a violent incident on Monday, March 30, 2026.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 4:15 p.m. on Lucas Street, where Dillon was involved in a physical altercation with another teenager. During the confrontation, she was fatally stabbed. Emergency responders transported her to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Attala in an effort to save her life, but she was later pronounced dead.

Law enforcement officials confirmed that a 15-year-old suspect, Ta’khia Fletcher, was taken into custody at the scene and has been charged in connection with the incident.
